Astroturf Gone Wrong.
When astroturfing the sites of bloggers who offer opinions about your employer, best not to make it too obvious.
-
I have to say, Ticketek's site is utter pants. I tried to buy tickets for the NZ-Australia netball game a month or two ago, and a search for "netball" brought up music concerts, basketball, and a boat show.
-
c.f: Warner Brothers astro-turfing the same mp3 blog that they just donated an mp3 to. "This track is amazing!! Thanks for letting us listen to it!! I never heard these guys before, but theyre awesome. I went to their website and you can listen to a lot of ther other stuff, very cool andvery good!
-
Good lord, that's pathetic. You'd think they'd let m4r just host the stuff and sit back and shut up, without needing to astroturf. I reckon in most cases it's some delusional but well-intentioned low-level employee. Which doesn't make it okay.
-
Yeah, Ticketek's website is bad. The only actual bad experience I had with it though was trying to get tickets for the Ashes last time around.
-
*receives fifty bucks from Ticketek employee for saying something even vaguely nice about them*
-
Astroturfing? That's a new one by me.
-
I'm thinking...when is astroturfing done right? When I don't notice it I guess, but the whole concept is annoying (I'g gullible enough as it is).
-
For those unfamiliar with the insidious and cowardly practice of astroturfing, here is some background info. Though, "pants" and "netball" are totally new to me. **grabs handful of fresh, clean dates; lovingly stuffs them into mouth
-
tis the season as they say crass spectacle
-
"pants" - some weird Brit saying, I think, meaning, essentially, "craptacular". "netball" - women in short skirts chasing a ball around in the middle of winter, but throwing, not kicking or whacking said ball.
-
Netballer.

Arse.

My favorite sport (it's not what you think)! For my birthday, I want the T-shirt (scroll down).
