Hey, US citizens abroad!
Welcome to the first online Overseas Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request system. Did you know that you can vote in US elections, even if you don't have a permanent US residence? I didn't, which is why I didn't vote in 2000. But now I know better, and so do you! It's easy to register! Do it! Do it today!!

thank goodness it's getting easier, it used to be really complicated.... (self-link, yadda yadda)

It's not the first Online Overseas Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request system, though. But that's good, the more voters, the better.

Wow, thanks so much! My husband is a dual citizen and so I'll get himm to sign up right away. Had no idea he could do this.

Oooh, good to know. Will be useful. Thanks! =)

as far as I know you don't actually have to be overseas to use this. For example, you could be Canadian. But I do know that you aren't allowed to vote Republican if you use it.

Oh, this is awesome. My dad was born in Indiana but moved to Canada from NYC in the early 60s. Woohoo! Thanks so much, Koko! Too bad he didn't move from Florida...
