Online pay-per-view comics:
Love, death, pigeons, gigantic snatchy hand-things, and brain-bent princesses run amok in Wary Tales. Six fun online comics for $.50 payable thru' Bitpass. Scott McCloud's The Morning Improv is $.25/installment, also via Bitpass. Links via e-sheep's Apocamon (thru' Bitpass too.) Previously discussed over there. Are comic "micropayments" here to stay? Is this a good way to support comics creators directly?

I haven't ever used one of these pay-per-view comics, mainly du ein large part because there are so many other free comics out there. I have, however, bought shirts from the online comics I like. I've bought several from desiel sweeties for example. One of my favorite online comics, Life on Forbez went to a subscription and I thought about paying, but in that particular case the guy has a habit of stoping for months at a time and I didn't see the point for paying for something that might just "go on hiatus" at any moment.
