Team America: World Police - coming in Oct. from Trey Parker and Matt Stone. (imdb)
  • Man, the IMDB forums are comedy gold... I've not encountered them before. They certainly make me appreciate the tone of MoFi all the more. I particularly recommend the "So fighting terrorism is now a joke?" thread. see gonzalesia, thats why you hardcores are so lame, in my college and the repubs are partying and having fun and you libs sit in the dorm in your black glasses you don't need to make you look smart and you sip mikes hard lemonaid and bitch about the world PARTY HARDY BROS!! -frat dude for life! Man, he's got a point there. Oh, and I'm going to have the phrase "dont be such an ass cock chugger" as the epitaph on my tombstone. This is what I've always imagined AOL to be like.
  • From that thread: There was no over exageration of the communist threat. If anything, it was under exagerated. Read Ann Coulter's book "Treason". It draws very conclusive lines to the extent of communism in our country. You mean, there are people that actually TAKE HER SERIOUSLY??? WTF? Man, where the hell is my passport?
  • this is exactly what I was trying to warn you about. MTV wasn't nothin' until they stopped playing music videos. Damn that must have been, what '87? I dunno, reminds me of the Reagan republican frat bastards. Back when college was about getting a business degree to make all the money you could. "Higher education" was getting enough credits to start gouging little old ladies. An open mind was not a requirement. All of them driving SUVs today. No, seriously - each and every single one of them. Look, there goes one now . . .
  • Marionettes saving the world - maybe this is to make up for Thunderbirds. About the IMDB chats: I stopped before the Ann Coulter bit - I was already bored. I never understand how something like mofi (which has open memership) can have such sensible comments, but forums like IMDB seem to attract such repetitive and unthinking ones. Probably even from the same people. Or maybe I am just tired of having movies I like dissed for no good reason. /grumpy
  • It's almost like their forums are inhabited by these guys.
  • It is inspired by Thunderbirds, but they had to do something different since the live action remake was coming out. One of the early ideas was a total remake of Day After Tomorrow but with puppets. Moriarty of AICN has a real interesting set visit posted.

    Mmmmm, graphic, puppet sex.
  • Meh, if there's no moved-by-hidden-hand-from-above Bush marionette, it's not gonna be good enough.
  • This is what I've always imagined AOL to be like. Best insult EVER.
  • A borderline directing career...Horrible reviews for your new movie...and now the South Park guys are releasing a riff on the same material only a few months later. Jonathan Frakes had to be punching the wall when he heard about this. How many more years before he's considered the new Shatner?
  • He wishes.
  • Jonathan Frakes = Shatner Lite
  • Monkeyfilter: Shatner Lite
  • Monkeyfilter: George W. Bush Will Be Very Mad When He Sees This
  • Eureka! A brilliant idea for a comedic short film: The secret Hollywood bar where embarassing former icons still reign supreme, ruled over by the duo of William Shatner and Chuck Norris. Jonathan Frakes is constantly trying to suck up to our heroes and getting thrown out of the place. Film students, call me for the rights. Cheap!
  • Can there be a scene where Steve Urkel bitch-slaps him?
