Sunni Drag Cleric Supports USA Rashid is the Imam of the only Muslim house of worship within the Green Zone in Baghdad. All the other Iraqi clerics hate him, but he doesn't care. He patterns himself after the Virgin Mary, and he bleaches his beard as a sign of purity to go with his patterned contact lenses. And he loves Whitney Houston and "Gone With the Wind."

  • Rashid speaks near-fluent English, which he says he learned by watching videos of his three favorite movies, "Gone With the Wind," "Love Story" and "The Bodyguard." "I love what's her name -- Whitney Houston? She is so beautiful, so pure. She is like (the Virgin) Mary, very clean." Oh my... The photo is priceless.
