Curious George: Movie Ratings Educational Poster
I'm looking for a copy of a poster (either a real poster, or an image) that I used to see in movie theatres. It was an educational poster that showed the different rating levels for films G thru X (this was pre NC-17). With each rating was an illustration of the family members who could attend the film - the lower ratings included a rabbit in the audience who also showed up in the X audience wearing a pair of sunglasses.
I haven't found anything via Google or eBay...

You mean this one. Found on a search for MPAA ratings poster. The image there is not great but it is a start.

Oh and I'll add that this poster used to amuse me, too. I miss seeing it but I guess X doesn't exist so much anymore and the MPAA is too busy being serious about piracy.
-
Oh, and a large image because I am a driven man. Nice way to waste some time and feel very mildly nostalgic.

Is it just me, or do the grins of the NC-17 movie-goers take on a different meaning?

Now that, my friends, is efficiency. /applauds Todfox

I remember that poster. As at teenager, I worked at a movie theater in the late 80's and early 90's. It might be worth it to contact some of your local theaters. They tended to be pack-ratty about that kind of stuff, and may have one rolled up somewhere. The employees only fight over the movie posters.

Never knew that Giraffes could only attend General rated movies. I hope they don't sit in front of me though... O, and what's that playboy bunny doing there?
-
They have this poster at a local movie theater here. It's a relativly new theater too, only a few years old. Only differance is is that the big "X" is replaced with "NC-17".

Excellent. Thank you all. Pretty sad to have a first-hit Google query fed back at me.

I love the rabbit in sunglasses in the NC-17 audience.
