Oh my... what a piece of crap. At least something like this looks interesting. Whoever did that deserves to look just a second at one of the Ancient Ones and go mad at the sight. Or maybe if he installs QuickTime on it, then it will truly be evil... ;p

Wow, the qt hatred around here lately has been abundant. I'm getting a urine-day kind of feeling... ;)

yeah, what is up with all the hating on quicktime? it works better for me than any of the others. plus i recently got quicktime pro which makes it kick even more ass. granted, all the 'pro' features were available for free back in QT4, but...

I'll second shotsy, I love my quicktime, but of course I got a Mac...

Sorry, I left out a /trollish, ironic tag on my QT comment... I mean, what are those haters thinking? Have they seen the quality of movie trailers, panoramas, compared to any WMV/AVI crap? Have they seen the Keynotes, streaming effortlessy on a decent connection, even on PCs? Pant... pant... In any case, this is the best casemod I've ever seen. Well, maybe after this other one...

Ah, Flagpole, you've got me beat. I was going to post this one as the best ever. But I'd rather have that G3.

I'll say it again: have you ever tried to stream quicktime off the net? It simply does not work. Not the compression I hate so much as its use on the net. Every time I see a video is QT on the net, I just give up.

Every time I see a video is QT on the net, I just give up. I react exactly the was way when I see RealPlayer shit (like on the BBC). .Mpeg ru1z!

The WHAT way?

drjimmy11, do you have a firewall that blocks the ports QT is using for it's streaming protocol? QuickTime Streaming Server 4 and Darwin Streaming Server 4 use the following TCP ports: 80: HTTP 554: RTSP 6970 -9999: used for dynamic (announced) UDP broadcasts 7070: RTSP 8000, 8001: MP3 streaming
