Campaign Songs, from The Integral.
2004. The world's sole superpower holds an election to decide the fate of the planet. Two men, both Yale-educated, are facing off in one of the most contentious campaigns in their nation's history. And an influential Congressional staffer releases an album called simply Campaign Songs under the pseudonym "the integral" to protect his identity. Tippecanoe and Cheney too.
This is a fantastic album of remixes of campaign snippets and campaign songs. Excellent stuff.

I liked Nixon's. And "Tippecanoe, and Tyler too!" is my all-time favourite U.S. campaign slogan (who cares that Tippecanoe was slaugher? It rhymes!)

Only US campaign song I've the slightest ability to recall dates from the Stevenson-Kefauver ticket (1956?) and was sung to the tune of 'Pony Boy', of all things. I always watch the US conventions when possible, so I know I've heard more than just one, but they just haven't wedged in easy recall. I think I'm glad of that.

This stuff sucks. I like the idea, and I like electronic, but this is just hard on the ears. I don't like listening to AWOL when he's managing complete sentences - who thought repeating the same phrase over and over would be a good idea? Oh, yeah. The media.

Actually, I liked it. Don't let Schwaumlaut scare ya! Some of the beats are really, really good.
