What OS are you?
Cute quiz if you've got time to answer twenty questions.
My result: AMIGA. Ahead of your time. You keep a lot of balls in the air. If only your parents had given you more opportunities to succeed.
-
Windows XP. Why does that sound suspiciously like an insult?
-
Free BSD...
-
Mac OS X! I so rock.
-
I am Palm OS: Punctual, straightforward, and very useful. My mother wants me to do more with my life like my cousin Wince, but I'm happy with who I am. Damn. I was hoping for ProDOS, what with my being old-school and everything. My Uh-DIDAS!
-
Ooh, that means that I have to openly mock mrk while secretly being covetous of him.
-
There were a lot of questions where I was torn bewteen two different answers. The first time I took it, I got Palm OS. Then I went back and selected my alternate answers and I got... Palm OS.
-
I am Amiga. It's okay, I guess. I really wanted to be Nextstep. (He types from a powerbook w/ a terminal open)
-
Show of hands: who picked 'sausage of power' as their favorite input device?
-
*proudly raises hand*
-
Ditto what Cali said, but the first time I took it I got Mac OS X, second time I got Palm OS. Weird.
-
Windows 98 Not even Second Edition. My PowerBook now refuses to take my input. /jumps out of window
-
On a slightly related note. I would almost pay someone to bring it up-to-date.
-
Windows 95. Told me I have limited powers of communication and I didn't think to write rest down.
-
Palm OS.
-
Palm OS. Would have liked Mac OS X, but it is still better than Windows of any sort.
-
Apple DOS 3.1. Who would've thunk it?
-
Am I the only one who got HP UX? Except I have no idea what that means about me. Alot of the questions didn't have the right answer... IE the traffic lane-changing one; I just bulldoze my way in and anyone caught in my way had better move. But at least they got the "most likely to start minor revolutions" thing right on my report cards.
-
I'm an OS I haven't tried yet - Debian Linux: People have difficulty getting to know you. Once you finally open your shell they're apt to love you.
-
another debian linux here.
-
HP/UX here as well. It means we're awesome.
-
OS X.
-
I'm Red Hat Linux. Someone tell me that's good. It's good, right? Beats Windows ME hands down, right?
-
Slackware Linux. At least I got a Bob out of it.
-
Apple DOS 3.1 "Simple and primitive, you have a good understanding of the common man. You're still a work in progress, but a good start." That totally makes up for the insults gotten from Koant's flash game
-
Wow. I'm an OS I've never even heard of. TRSDOS?
-
I'm another Apple DOS 3.1 - is that good? Seeing as I'm an Apple-hatin' PC boy, and always have been, I'm slightly at sea here. There's a whole world of operating systems out there I'll never know anything about (other than overhearing geeks making jokes I don't understand about Debian, which seems to happen with unnerving frequency.)
-
OS2/warp i don't know what that means
-
so am i the only winxp here? that saddens me no end!!!
-
Apple DOS 3.1 *Happy Dance* Never owned a napple, but I lurve them!
-
Apple DOS? wtf mate? Apple? Yes. DOS? No.
-
ramix, what does it say about xp?
-
OS? With anethesia, thank you.
-
Apple DOS.
-
Apple Dos... Simple and primitive with a good understanding of the common man. You're still a work in progress, but a good start. I think I'll take that as a compliment...
-
OS/2 Warp. I don't know what that means either. Get me another beer. And is the sausage of power what I think it is?
-
I have a couple of friends who used to loooove them some OS/2. I'd call it a compliment. And yes, it is.
-
forks: I hope so, coz I'm a RedHatter too.
-
Slackware Linux... it seems to be pretty much bang on for me. It's scary really.
-
AMIGA too. Ahead of my time AND I get to blame my parents for my failures, eh? Sounds like a good deal.
-
Debian Linux... ...and his Orchestra. (I like saying "Debian Linux" almost as much as I like saying "Bashy Quraishy" ...and his Friends.)
-
You could always combine the two and become the "Debiabashi". I think you'd make one heck of a Father of the Debias, Wendell. ps. Amiga. The James Dean of OSes.
-
Slackware Linux.
-
Nah, Amiga's more like the Elvis of OSes. Dead, but fan's keep seeing it show up from time to time in places like Wal Mart...
-
Oh my god, I put an apostrophe in "fans". Time for me to get off teh intarweb for a while.
-
Fan's is the local Chinese food place we order from at work. I just assumed that was what you were talking about...
