Gallery of Apollo mission photos.
via Slashdot, sorted by mission number. I know a lot of us probably saw it over there, but I think it's worth posting here as well.

good find, thanks polychrome!

Among the early mission pictures I noticed one of Kennedy and Johnson among a group of folk being briefed -- brought back many memories. Thanks, polychrome.

It's difficult to convey, in this day of routine rocket launches, just how exciting these missions were at the time. They were doing impossible things, and doing them well. The astronauts received minimal instruction on photographic composition; they were worried about just getting the job done. It's a miracle that so many of these pictures work on an aesthetic level. Oh, yeah- looking at these pix makes me feel six years old again. Many thanks, polychrome.
