Tons of good stuff here. Other classics on the library page: Dracula, Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, etc.

Cthulhu reverse scam.

While often formulatic (Something freaky happened and everyone but me died. Let me tell you about it), I still love Lovecraft's stories. However, one must be carefull that it is true lovecraft and not August Dereleth (sp?) who spent many years doing postumous "co-authoring" with scraps of lovecraft's stuff and is generally even more formulaic, but without the charm.

Your link-fu is strong, homunculus. I nearly died laughing at that link.

An oldie but a goodie... The Insects from Shaggy or The Last Testament of Daphne Pickman or The Doom that came to the Mystery Machine
-
The front page has been moving much faster recently. I completely missed this FPP until now -- thanks for this great find, pyrthonn1!

Very nice. Thanks!

Posts like this are why I come to this site. Well, that and the uber-sexy color scheme. In fact, it's only because of the color scheme. On a side note (and by "side" I mean "on topic"), I haven't read any Lovecraft... any recommendations on one or two stories to start with?
-
Might start with some of the shorter pueces, TractorInc, such as The Rats in the Wall.
-
Done and done. Thanks!
-
any recommendations on one or two stories to start with? Call of Cthulhu and Pickman's Model. 'nuff said.
-
I'd add to Surly's excellent reccs The Dunwich Horror and my favorite, The Colour Out of Space.
