False Advertising - A Gallery of Parody
"Ads" for various companies / industries with a subversive bent.

Some of them are a little old (i.e. Lucent Technologies doesn't exist anymore) but some of them are pretty sweet. Also deconstructs the logo, an eye towards the future of "placement".

Nice find, pete_best! I especially like this one. Still going through them, though, so we'll see.
-
Some of these look like good "Adbusters" material. Tons o' fun.

pete_best, why do you hate capitalism? If you guys need more activist porn, (No, not THAT kind!) check out: Subvertise.org, and, as MC Stool mentioned, Adbusters.org.

middle class stool: not too runny, not too firm. Baby-bear quality stool.

Yeah I like adbusters (hope their shoe gets made) but sometimes their design turns me off. Not nearly as bad as WIRED but in the same kind of "why don't they just stop it" kind of way. Thanks for the subvertise link too!

Oh, ditto that. Adbusters' site design/layout is absolute shite. I like the grungy, dirty look of it, but trying to navigate through all of that becomes a real chore. There's no good reason for having someone 'search' just to find the site map, especially.

I want you to know that the multinational PepsiCo conglomeration, which includes dozens of dope fast-food chains, beverage brands, and packaged non-perishable snacks—and for which I'm a proud representative—is totally down with your way-out-there niche community.

Funny.
