"It's About Oil"
The popular single by Missoula, Montana folk singer Amy Martin. Enjoy.
-
very nice!
-
Very nauseating. She's a living, breathing stereotype of a "give peace a chance, it's all about the oil, rich white men are keeping everyone else down in order to scam more money" type of granola-flake.
-
Yes davidmsc, and that's why we love her.
-
Folk music is an organic cage-free chicken running wild in a world of factory-farmed songs. *hurrrrllll*
-
an organic cage-free chicken Oh, dear.
-
Her first recording, To You, was named one of the ten best albums of 2000 by The Pacific-Northwest Inlander Fucking A right it was! Where's the, ah, picture gallery?
-
Coincidentally, I was recently arrested for gambling on organic cage-free chicken fights.
-
You know, even though davidmsc and I are on the opposite side of the spectrum usually, I heartily agree with him on this one. We need music that speaks to our roots, not just our surfaces. Shame she's apparently unable to do that with this song.

We need music that speaks to our roots ... And our brains.
