• actually, today was the very first time I hit the bookmark and it refreshed the page I was on - like MeFi used to do (only MeFi changed the favicon in the tab). It was back in just a minute tho, so perhaps I was having unique browser issues.

• f8xmulder: I really only have one problem with MeFi and that is that it crashes more often than not. Beyond that, I'd rather a slightly bigger fish (or monkey) in a small pond, than a single, solitary, teeny-tiny, infinitesimal plankton in an ocean. I've been on slashdot for a while now (under a different name) and it really hasn't done anything for me except raise my blood pressure. So I don't see why MeFi should be any different. Sure I read the site, but usually don't even feel the need to comment anymore.
• I'm with f8x - is a birthday card really the best place to air your grievences about the blue? Matt did some pioneering work with MeFi, and who knows what MoFi would be without it. I, for one welcome our... (sing it with me, you know the words) Thanks Matt and Tracicle!
