Save Loomis
SFW but careful on the links.
Lately I have been making a concerted effort to not suck so bad at drawing. After poking around my favorite places for trading files, I found a few PDFs of this guys books amongst the standard tutorials on how to draw anime fantasy girls. The books are well written and I like his style. My dad, who is an artist was familiar with Loomis, and apparently these were popular back in the day. I was pleased to find this, and found them useful introductions by a talented and passionate drafter, and many of these are out of print, and would be otherwise unavailable. (especially not living in an english-speaking country). (oh, and some of the deeper links are NSFW, naked model ads and stuff.)

heheh, these are ancient. I remember some of the arty aunts in my family using these back in the mesozoic era. Hehe. When I went to art school we got to use books full of pictures of *real* naked people! wowee. Great link.

Yeah, definitely old, but there is a quality, a style that he uses that is still commonly used, albeit in a retro-kind of way. I think its pretty cool that these, which are out of print, and probably closely held on to by the people who own them, are available. (amazon has one book by him, but not any of these).
