The number one hit for a Google Image Search for the word "monkey" is...
  • I suspect some googlebombing of some sort. This is too silly.
  • And here I was expecting GWB. this is my fave on page 1.
  • awww... He's cute too. But he's not a monkey! /pedant
  • Awww.
  • homunculus, I dunno. I keep expecting the monkey to say, "Stick 'em up, or the puppy gets it!"
  • Ghastly example: or, why monkeys should not eat over 32 hotdogs at once.
  • Sidenote: look at the fifth result of the search for monkeyfilter.
  • hmmph, considering the mood around here sometimes, lately, i'm surprised no one has claimed this one as their totem. doesn't that kind of search result leave you wondering about the veracity of the great google? michael jackson and stuffed animals before the real thing? *food-eating contests have always baffled me since the country fair 'eat the pie' level.* /i must need another coffee.
  • MJ is now #2 (and will presumably fall farther), which is why it's not generally a good idea to link to something as ephemeral as google search results. (Or at least provide a second link to the image that you were referring to.)
  • He's still number one on my search. Original Image
  • So why isn't MonkeyFilter anywhere in the first 908 results for a Google web search for "monkey"? (Did you know that, despite bannering "about 7,340,000 results", they stop showing them after #908? Another reason to doubt the Google hype) On the good news side, we're #6 for "Turkmenbashi".
