"This telephone can be used to transport to other places. To be transported to another place you must life the handset and dial a number. In order to find the telephone numbers you must explore each place. . . . The number to access the first place is FIVE EIGHT ZERO."
  • well if the goal is to kill the crows, I am very good at this game
  • Nicely done... wish it was longer, though.
  • Pretty cool...I didn't have the patience to get past the slot machine heads thing, though.
  • it's so pretty!
  • Too short. But maybe that was intended to prevent players going insane.
  • this is so awesome... thanks much, and the MeFites love it too.
  • Very cool. The music selection was great.
  • That was fun! Does anybody remember the crimson room? What about mystery of time and space? There were a couple of others I can't remember the names of, one with a little guy in a kind of organic spaceship, another with a little dog-thing that had to re-route his town's water supply. People tell me that the game Myst is a lot like those.... been thinking of picking it up, but with KoL already wasting lots of time, I don't think my husband would be too happy about that. ;o)
  • How do you get past the flowers that play a tune? I couldn't get a number no matter where I clicked. Oh, and great post!
  • minda, are there any KoL clans with a lot of monkeys in them?
  • musingmelpomene, the Lords of Monkey Filtration is almost exclusively monkeys. Bear Guy is the leader. Check out the KoL thread.
  • languagehat, click on the flower, which will replay what the piano did, play it yourself, and then the number should come up.
  • I thought I tried that, but I probably misplayed the notes. I knew I should have kept up with those piano lessons. Thanks, I'll try again.
  • Got it. ....Wish it was longer....
  • The water-supply game was called Chasm (I keep wanting to call it Orc Chasm) and if you search on Mefi the same thread will give you the name of space-ship guy. I love the artwork in that one. Myst, however, drove me nuts and I had to give it away.
  • Ah, Chasm!!! The game with a terrible is-it-really-over? ending. Still fun, though. Couldn't find the mefi thread, but did remember that the other game starts with an "S", and I do believe it used to be hidden in the Garnier site. I was going through the forums one day, reading misc. posts, when I came across a general "about KoL" thread. People were taking about funny things, and that's when I, at the suggestion of one poster, said "Orc Chasm" out loud. :o)
  • Wow, that was a cool and fun break from the monotony of my day! Thanks! :D
  • This IS great. Why is it that every time I come to post a link someone else has posted it before me? Curses!
