http://www.fromthewilderness.com JUNE 8, 2004 1600 PDT (FTW) - Why did DCI George Tenet suddenly resign on June 3rd, only to be followed a day later by James Pavitt, the CIA's Deputy Director of Operations (DDO)? Both resignations, perhaps soon to be followed by resignations from Colin Powell and his deputy Richard Armitage, are about the imminent and extremely messy demise of George W. Bush and his Neocon administration in a coup d'etat being executed by the Central Intelligence Agency. The coup, in the planning for at least two years, has apparently become an urgent priority as a number of deepening crises threaten a global meltdown. Based upon recent developments, it appears that long-standing plans and preparations leading to indictments and impeachment of Bush, Cheney and even some senior cabinet members have been accelerated, possibly with the intent of removing or replacing the entire Bush regime prior to the Republican National Convention this August.

He has also pioneered the effort to educate the world about the consequences of Peak Oil -- the fact that the world is running out of hydrocarbon energy, and what this might mean for human civilization. Heh...PLENTY of credibility to go around. /snark
  • "No Watson, you idiot, somebody's stolen our tent!"
  • While this sounds like a lot of fun, I think everyone is going to have to actually vote the man out. Too bad, though, this would have been a real hoot.
  • Freedom haters, no doubt. I really want to laugh and get out my tinfoil hat, but still in all, I want this guy to be right as well. Maybe I'll be safe and just wear a wee tinfoil beanie.
  • Eh, I prefer my tinfoil fedora.
  • Heh, they look like Hershey's Kisses.
  • It occurs to me that, if this were true and if this happened far enough away from election time, the Republican Presidential Candidate might very well be McCain. And I'm pretty sure McCain could beat Kerry without working really hard at it. Even if not, it might make an interesting "Alternate History/Present" book to be released sometime in the next 5 years.
  • Nah, the hit to the GOP would be too much. I'd pay to watch tho :D
  • Davidmsc, you could always try to refute their timeline. They're offering $1000 for anyone that can refute claims made on that timeline, although it appears that the terms of that have expired.
  • i second flashboy.
  • If someone else resigns, I might credit it. Nevertheless, the data in the latter part of the article is interesting. The Bush clan are far too powerful and know far too much about certain things to have this happen to one of their own, methinks.
  • Yup. Like the Hershey hats, though. The scapegoat explanation is more likely to me -- I'm not sure it's a coincidence that the one major figure to resign as a result of this mess due to personal issues was a Clinton appointee. Much as I'd like the link's explanation to be true, I doubt it.
  • While this sounds like a lot of fun, I think everyone is going to have to actually vote the man out.
Didn't we already try the "voting" thing? Besides, this can't be possibly be true; as it would somehow mean all would be right with the universe...
  • This is all because of that dang "Time Traveler' guy, right?
