Legendary New York punk guitarist Robert Quine was found dead in his apartment in NYC. According to Billboard Magazing he died of an apparant heroin overdose. Quine was a member of punk pioneers Richard Hell and the Voidoids and worked with other luminaries such as Lou Reed, Tom Waits, Brian Eno, John Zorn and Lester Bangs. RIP
