Interesting advertisement, with a familiar look — related to this?

Damn, this was gonna be my next link. Good stuff, even if it is a tad short.

Damn, this was gonna be my next link. Sorry, Blaise. I only posted this because my original post was posted yesterday. We're all a bunch of link stealers...
-
but but how do you play it
-
Click on stuff, marx, and other stuff happens. On the first screen, start by playing around with the Cactus.
-
Yeah. When you get to the end, the little amanita mushroom's in the corner. I love those people.
-
this is awesome
-
Aww... how happy! Perfect timing for me, too, because I will be seeing Polyphonic Spree on Saturday with David Bowie. Loved their cover of "Five Years" on the the last page of the game.
-
Holy shit kimdog, you're going on a date with David Bowie? Is he just taking you to the gig, or is he shouting for dinner too?
-
Dammit, I was supposed to be discrete, ya know, until he has that talk with Iman. Since he scored the tickets, I will probably pick up dinner. I see that none of my secrets are safe here on Mofi.
-
When I went to see the Polyphonic Spree, I almost died. True story.
-
I think that other link is broken but i found what i think is the same thing over here
-
Help Me Pleeeze! I made the three flowers bloom on the cactus, but now what?
-
Oh for pete_best's sake, Dizzy! And what happen's AFTER flowers boom?
-
The Polyphonic Spree put on an AMAZING show. just don't drink the kool-aid.
-
(i go fuck myself?)
-
And after THAT, GramMa's gonna make you wash your mouth out with soap.
-
hee. OK, I think you're telling me to make the phallus-cactus poop out little balls of something for the animal to eat... I shaved my legs for THIS?
-
Pointless Trivia: 2 of the songs from that Samorost game are by Noon, an artist I put on my "mystery" mix CD. Also, when you go here it does mention that Jakob Dvorsky/Amanita's new game is Quest for the Rest.
-
Dizzy, as soon as we have finished with this soap, I'M going to go play the game again. YOU'RE going to your room. Monkeys: I like this stuff. I want more. So where can I find more like this? Some of the links I've seen recently are kinda fun--Samarost, Snoozleburg--oh, and that thingy with the water pipes and the dam in the desert was ok. I don't like RPGs or kill'ims, but these klick-to-advance things are neat. Any more on line? I know, I know, if your GramMa likes it, it can't be cool, but HEY dammit! Give an old lady a break!

A great source of all kinds of Flash/Shockwave/whatever online games is Little Fluffy Games. At least one link to a new game every day, and a fairly sizeable archive.

Percussionist for the Polyphonic Spree is questioned by the FBI after fear over a mcrophone packed in his luggage shuts down several terminals at Dallas/Ft. Worth International.
-
This is a great find! Thanks! Reminds me of Lemmings.
-
We always refer to it as the microphone, never your microphone. "... which raised concerns because of the wires and threading caps running through it. A bomb disposal robot removed it, and it was taken to an open field." Maybe terminal security should be given a deck of cards to help them identify microphones and all manner of electronic equipment that also happen to have wires in them. no, you can't see the deck of cards
-
I laughed at the "Thank god for TiVo!" product endorsement in the mic. article. Truly, that is the lesson to take from that experience (I'm just being mean. Arriving home from a trip with Taco Bell in my hand, I too would be harrowed by X-files-ish MIBs with guns)
