Saltacol
[Flash game. Warning: addictive]
-
For anyone wondering about the etymology, it looks like it's a blend of the Spanish words "saltar," to jump, and "caracol," snail. Cute. Personally, I kept getting skewered on the crystals on the third level. I like how the legs dangle, though.
-
Fantastic. Now I won't get ANY work done today. I'm stuck on level three as well.
-
That is a very cool game. But I can't play right now cuz my boss might think I'm lazy. Monkeyfilter: Tempting at work, addictive at home.
-
You do realise I've got 2,500 words of an English essay to write for Tuesday? Damn you.
-
finally found the switch on the third level... this thing is kickin' my ass
-
I'm stuck on the fourth level. It's fun, but frustrating to make your way slowly to the top of a huge cave, only to slip slightly and fall all the way back down.
-
yeah, I'm on the 4th now... swimming is nearly impossible... I lose the cursor
-
For anyone interested and capable the creator of the game is soliciting new level maps (I can't link directly). If you visit his site and find your way to the Saltacol link there are instrucrtions in English and Spanish about submitting your own caves to drive other monkey's out of their wits. I am looking forward to a few new levels as I can pretty much hop through the game as it is (not). I've never been into gaming very much, much less flash games, but I love this little adventure - and the ending is great. And then there is Fishy!...
-
Wait wait wait... you finished it? *bows before Patsee*
-
It took me a couple of days and a case of carpal tunnel but I made it to the end (there are "only" five levels). I wish I knew how to design more levels. I've never beat Fishy!
-
More games. And they are lovely. The monkeys need your help.
-
Ah yes, time-wasting flash fun. A great Monkey tradition.
-
Never did get past level three.
