Gambian rodents risk death for bananas.
  • Won't somebody think of the monkeys? *cries*
  • It's really interesting how the rats are actually better at this than dogs.
  • This is very cool! A college friend had a pet rat. I gave it a cookie once, and months later at my next visit it was very intersted in checking out my hands and pockets. Apparently it remembered and was looking for treats. An old article about a rat who wires (wired?) schools in California.
  • i say we make all the gambian rats honorary mofites! as we are all banana lovers. and they're doing such heroic and dangerous work! hurray for gambian rats!

  • hurray for repetition!
  • Hurray!
  • Gambian rats work for "a bite of banana" -- I think they should organize and demand better wages for this hazardous work. Support exploited Gambian rats!
  • I am OUTRAGED that these rats are taking away jobs from hard working, honest dogs... All because they're cheaper to use. Won't someone please think of the poor puppies whose hopes and dreams of sniffing out and possibly exploding themselves have been crushed by these awful rats...
  • Oh, yeahyeahyeah! Let dogs do the dangerous work!
