Yang Shan-Shen, a Chinese artist of the Lingnan school of painting, has died at the age of 92. [Via wood s lot.]
  • Beautiful stuff.
  • I want so many of them, plus a house that would display them to the best advantage. But, I probably couldn't affort reproductions of all the ones I fell in love with, and I didn't see a store there which sells repros. Too bad they didn't translate the characters from the paintings. I'd really like to know what the artists wrote. Thank you for the link.
  • Yes, these are very beautiful, thank you. Here is one just for us. One alternative to a reproduction for the light in pocket is to save the image and use it on your desktop. A friend of mine likes ukiyo-e on his desktop. This one was a favorite of mine; this is by the same artist and is quite similar (I mixed them up at first).
  • Wonderful, homunculus! This and this very much take my fancy. Like path, I'd like to know more about these.
  • Yes,jb, I saved about 10 of them. But there's something about art in just the right frame, hanging on the wall...
  • Oh, homunculus! Simply wonderful! Such fabulous work. BIG BANANA! )))))
