  • I just needed some money to buy milk. Wait a sec...
  • Someone has to ask - just what is a milkbar?
  • A less well-stocked version of a deli. One that sells snacks, cigs, drinks etc. And it has white fibreglass statues of naked women with tinsel pubes you can sit on etc.
  • I've been in the Korova in the Village. I looked, in my tie and trench, like a father searching for his incorrigible daughter. They thoughtfully provide couches, which are comfy and not at all difficult to get out of in emergency (like, say, an empty glass).
  • We sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom or Tuscan Whole Milk, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.
  • At the risk of making certain people foam at the mouth and have brain tumors and stroke out and stuff because I'm daring to post in an older thread..... Is this the Korova Milkbar of which you speak?
