Strong stomach? Then join a surgeon and perform a total knee replacement on a (flash) patient.
  • I explored this, fascinated, months ago. Then, a couple weeks ago, I started to get a sore knee, for no reason. Gulp. I couldn't get those clean vector images out of my mind. Doctor checked and said I must have overextended a ligature (used to bolt up stairs two setps at a time... aarghh, I'm in a hurry, get outta mah way) and after some care and no rugby, it's better. Can kneel again. But that virtualoperation still haunts my dreams. I know we'll meet again.
  • They showed a knee replacement surgery on TV here a couple of years ago when I was home on holiday. Another of those morbidly fascinating things. At the time I was knee-deep in skeletal biology and human anatomy classes with a side of human dissection, and had the pleasure of explaining what was happening in detail to my equally interested mother. Now I'm thinking, ew!
  • Wow, I feel prepared now..Do it yourself knee op!
  • That was easy! Screw the hospital bills! Come'on over to my place fellow monkeys, I've got a hacksaw and some legos with your name on them!
