No seriously, why didn't this happen sooner? "Ever since I came to Google, they've been talking about putting up an official Google blog. And now, less than 15 months later, voilĂ ."
  • It's a little behind the times for a Google blog. The most recent post is about the "Jew" Google search, and the blog itself doesn't utilise any of the new Blogger features (such as commenting, hello?). But still potential. And they're looking for employees for a Zurich office. That's only my favourite city in the world! *packs bags*
  • The Lycos 50 Blog is always an interesting read. Aaron Schatz has been replaced with some guy named Dean, though...
  • They have a Blogger Program Manager? People get paid for blogging? I'm off to Z
  • jane? is that you???
  • When will Google cave in and purchase MoFi? We're all waiting to relocate to ... er... wherever it is Google is (Bangladesh? Z
  • As I mentioned over at ... that other place, I think Google is going out on a limb with that blog. If they continue and are relatively open with information, I expect a securities lawsuit the first time their stock price dips. It's an unfortunate side effect of being a public company; ironically it forces the company to be more tight-lipped than when it was privately owned.
  • From what I've seen, many big blogs don't use commenting; I imagine because they'd just get overloaded with idiots (naturally, I wouldn't dream of linking to any of the latter).
  • Aww, piss. My point was that lots of big blogs don't actually use comments, presumably because of the chance it'd just get overloaded by idiots.
  • i'd hit it.
