Finger flicking good Carabande is back! Now if only I wasn't so damn unemployed…
  • *brushes dust off post, wonders what became of aspo* Hmm, this seems like a good time to poll the assembled monkeys as to who are board and card game-o-philes...and what their current fav game is. Incidentally, you can find a working Carabande link here.
  • Carcassonne: The Castle kicks ass. Only two players, though.
  • I'd suggest Ticket to Ride and the new edition of RoboRally as excellent games that can be played by 2-5 people (roboRally, 2-8!). 'Cause, let's face it, sometimes you just don't know how many people you'll have.
  • Yeah, I've been scrounging up for Ticket to Ride. Do you recommend the regular version or the fancy new European one?
  • Chez fish tick we've been enjoying crokinole lately: curling-meets-checkers with a fair bit of strategy, at least for those who can aim. *sigh* Anbody got a working link to Carabande? It looks like great fun. I was leery of clicking on the sidebar link to this thread- assumed it had to do with nosepicking!
  • Carabande. Now, I don't think there's anything in the rules that PROHIBITS nosepicking. It does look like fun, but I don't think it's available state side.
  • Did I mention that Crokinole is a Canadian game? :-)
  • Do you recommend the regular version [of Ticket to Ride] or the fancy new European one? I haven't had a chance to play the European one yet. From what I've understood, people are raving about the new European one. It adds some new game features that make the gameplay more dynamic, but it's not as finely balanced as the original TtR set in North America. Those opinions have yet to be confirmed though.
