Hey, hey... I laughed, I cried, I got out my lighter and my Spectrum.

I've encountered MJ Hibbert and this little masterpiece before, but this is the first time I've seen this video.

  • V. Good. I'd just this morning downloaded Manic Miner onto my mobile - about a 50k download!!!!
  • What ever happened to J. Rotten?
  • Ha! Very good. My first computer was a ZX80 as I think I've mentioned here before (but I was as young as that kid with the Frankie T-shirt in the link, so although I'm old, I'm not *that* fucking old) so this definitely made me smile. Christ it was a chore programming those things. I remember getting computer magazines with game code printed in them - pages of it - and laboriously copying it out by hand into the bloody thing. One typo and you were screwed. Oh, and the games sucked, no matter what anyone says. ZXspectrum is melded in my mind with memories of the opening of Return of the Jedi - although I'm sure there were years difference - GOTO: START
  • He is gone, but he's not forgotten.
  • SYS64739 ::sigh:: I miss my Comodore 64
  • Now I wanna play Skyfox... =(
  • ha! i'm not a programmer or computer geek by any means, but i still really enjoyed that. a banana to rogerd!
  • er...i read the post as ..." i got my lighter out of my rectum" hmm!!!
  • The chiken lips ruled! (At least on this side of the pond). I recall watching in astonishment at the photorealistic graphics of SummerGames and the fluid character animation of Impossible Mission. "Stay awhile... stay FOREVER!!!" /sheds a tear
  • I adore this. Best post ever.
