The Vandenbergh Carver
is essentially an aircraft cockpit on wheels - of which there are three, one at the front and two at the back, Reliant-Robin style.
Occupants sit in tandem, one behind the other. There's not much room for fidgeting, but once on the move you'll be too rigid with fear to wriggle anyway.

Er, except that it's called the Vandenbrink Carver. Way to go, me.
-
Aww Wolof, it's still a cool link ;)
-
Maybe in mythical future Mr Bean episodes he will tip one of these.

...highly alarming...my time as a passenger can't end soon enough [Sigh] Sounds like fun to try out, if not to commute daily in. Oh, well, no doubt those grapes are sour.--First attributed to a talking crow in one of Aesop's beast fables

Saw this on an episode of Top Gear; both Twat Clarkeson and his midget sidekick liked it, which suggess it has some virtues. That said, I'm not sure why I'd want it instead of a motorbike (0-100 in 8+ seconds? That's slower than my 250cc Bandit; 20,000 quid? For that I oculd get a Gixxer 600 for the track, a Tiger for touring, and still have a bunch of cash left over).

rodgerd, were you watching last night? I was immensely amused when Jeremy Clarkson managed to squeeze himself into the back. I would love one of these for cruising around the city and dodging all the grannies. Old Captain Picard wasn't a very good guest. I preferred Neil Morrissey.

Pictures would be groovy, but I want to see a video of this thing in action.

I was, tracicle; "This is a catr designed where drus and gay marriage are legal" I stil think the best Top Gear guest is Jamie Oliver, since: a) He is in touch with his bogan roots, owning a VW bus equipped with a Porsche 3.6 litre flat six; b) He was a good enough sport to try making a meal in the back while being driven around the Top Gear race track and c) mocked Clarkson mercilessly.
-
Jamie Oliver is one cool cat. I love him. Also, these look extremely unsafe! But it would still be neat to have one.
-
This would be fun in the Land of Banned SUV's. >/ban SUV*

You guys have Top Gear in New Zealand. Goddamn, thats just inhumane. The British Empire is truly an evil one.
-
I like it! Although it took me a couple of months before I could watch it from start to finish.
