A Softer World.

I came across this months ago, and I don't know why I didn't post it (I thought I had, actually, but I don't seem to have done). I was reminded of it the other week by Warren Ellis badsignal mailout, and was going to post it then, but the entire site was overwhelmed by the traffic Warren Ellis must be able to generate, but they've recovered. So you might have all seen it before, but it is wonderful, I think.

  • *chuckle*. Biting.
  • Having read a lot more of them now, they seem inspired by Jack Handey's Deep Thoughts.
  • If I was going to make a comic strip (and I've thought about it) and I were artistically talented in any way (and I'm not), then it'd probably turn out something like that. But someone else has done that now. So I can't.
  • Make sure you read Joey's c.v. cover letter.
  • [banana] It reminds me of Dave McKean; Cages especially, and some of his collaborative work with Neil Gaiman (like Mr Punch).
  • it doesn't feel softer . . on the other hand, that damn teddy bear isn't there pushing softener so that's a plus.
