Terragen. An awesome and very easy to use landscape generator. A free piece of software that lets you render almost photo-realistic images in a matter of seconds. Just look at what you can do with it.

  • Oops, just realised I've posted twice today. Oh well, it's tomorrow where I am. And this is pretty awesome.
  • One of my favorite toys this last year. It's easy to use, but hard to use well. One must be both artist and photographer to produce good work- the discussion group can be a great help here. They still haven't finished the tree and shrub modules, for those of us without LightWave. I await it eagerly.
  • Whoah...I remember a version of this way back like 6 or 7 years ago. This new version is a huge improvement. Thanks for the link.
