Famous Last Words.
No, really. A site devoted to what famous people last uttered.
My favorite is Pancho Villa's: as he lay dying, surrounded by newspaper reporters, "Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."

Man, geocities sites are really fragile.

Worked for me...but it's missing this one by Oscar Wilde: "Either this wallpaper goes, or I do."
-
although he wasn't famous, my high-school journalism teacher (i remained close to him all my life) died last year after fighting various cancers (brain, esophagus, stomach). his last words: "get me out of this!" i thought that reflected the situation nicely.

To bad it's down. I would like to have read that.
-
"Nonsense, they couldn't hit an elephant at this dist-." John Sedgwick, 1813 - 1864
-
Or Henrik Ibsen's classic last words, after a nurse told a visitor that Mr. Ibsen was feeling a little better: "On the contrary!"
