Curious George
Sorry, I might be going to the well a bit too much here (my second post of the day) but I need a bit more help. I asked a few days ago for suggestions for music to cut to a video of children eating and have found that I have a lot of stuff of them washing their hands before the meal. Does anyone have ideas for washing hands/washing up songs appropriate for a video of kids produced for their parents?
As before, they don't need to be originally recorded for children, just kid friendly.
BTW, I chose “Everybody Eats When They Come to My House” by Cab Calloway for the eating portion of the video. Cute as hell.

Not specifically washing-related, but you might check out the album "Now" by Stark Reality. It was issued originally in the early 70s as a kids album and covers a lot of great Hoagy Carmichael songs. It was re-issued last year on Stone's Throw records and you can find it at any quality record store. Seeing as you are in LA, the definately have it at Amoeba and Aarons.

So, squid, is this video something you can post for us to check out when your done? Sounds like alot of fun.

Not about washing at all

I love the Cab Calloway song! Great choice. Elvis sings in Shake Rattle & Roll: Well, get outta that bed, wash your face and hands ...

I suppose I could show it to you all. I'm not exactly a web wiz. If there is a place that I can post it to, I'd be glad to do so. I think I got a bit of space with my account with comcast.

Just checked with the pre-school. Absolutely not kosher to post anything of the kids on the internet. Due to the wide open nature of the net, they won't let the kids images be posted. I can understand how they feel.

"I've got to be clean" by Guster from the "For the Kids" cd sounds like just what you are looking for.

How about Rubber Ducky by Ernie from Sesame Street or Splish Splash by Bobby Darrin? And squidranch, that Cab Calloway song is da bomb! Fabulous choice!

There must certainly be a They Might Be Giants song for this occasion...
