I don't know. And that's it.
-
You do, SideDish. You do.
-
Monkey fun. Nothing better than Monkey fun, if I have to stay indoors. Otherwise, I want to be on horseback in the Spring sunshine.
-
I wish I were happy like the people in the electronics-store flyer
-
it.
-
I choose not to unleash the shmoop, but thank you for making me take a few minutes to stop and think about it. :D
-
petebest - i thought we were trying to pretend that thread didn't exist any more.... but i heartily second your comment. (um, the "it" at the end of the thread, not the "it" in question in the middle of the thread.) oh bloody hell. i'll stop now.
-
oh, caution, back from METAFILTER to add a little comment here and there?? hmmm??? HMMMMM??? tweak tweak nudge nudge
-
(and, i might add, lard)
-
hey, sidedish, i FPP'd here today and not on mefi. ('cause matt won't let me post yet.) :D
-
The prospect that we just might have a new, not quite so wacky president. Oh, and pizza.
-
Correction, pizza with lard on it.
-
Lying in bed, knowing that, for once, no, I don't have to get up, thankyou very much.
-
The piercing scream of a victim. I mean, flowers or something.
-
Funny, the article said it a not oft asked question. Which makes me wonder why people WONT STOP ASKING ME! I would say nothing, I am pissed off pretty much all the time.
-
/me hands lkc a chocolate puppy
-
/me bites the head off of said chocolate puppy. Thanks petebest! It tastes like real puppy!
-
Sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together Erm. I likes kitties too. And puppies. And drinkin' lots of martinis. WITH olives.
-
I'm with Blaise. The feeling of being in a warm cozy bed, watching the sun climb higher and higher, drifting in and out of some languid, half-asleep dreamstate...mmm....
-
Procrastinating at work while making stupid stuff up in my mind. Then forgetting about it. What was I saying? :)

Lucid dreams. Vodka. Lust. The R'Leh Text/

HAPPINESS, n. An agreeable sensation arising from contemplating the misery of another. -Ambrose Bierce
-
*shares vodka with Pez, hands shinything the olives from my martini* Many, many things are making me happy lately-the current short list is: Kimberly & jim_t 3 day weekends Dodger Ditch Day (opening day - we lost - boo!) the new guy American Ballet Theater Date night with my daughter WHEEE!
-
Yeah, here's my short list: Sleeping in...WAY in Sunshine, about 78 degrees and a slight breeze Hangin' with the family, playin' hard Ordering out and watching movies Having the house to myself to read a good book in total silence (plenty of chocolate on hand) Several bottles of wine in the company of good friends Getting really baked and going hiking. Having someone besides Bush for president
-
Happy: Sitting in a hot-tub watching the sun set on Mont Blanc after a hard-day's ski-ing. Getting Glastonbury tickets. Throwing a party for my girlfriend's birthday. Springtime. Sailing season starts soon. Riding my vespa round london in the summer Unhappy: Manchester United beating Arsenal in the FA Cup.
-
blaise, alnedra, darshon - sleeping in seems to be even better with a significant other next to you, a thick, down blanket and a kitty or two snuggled between your feet. that makes me pretty happy. fresh spicy steamed shrimp, hot sun, cold beer. spring flowers (daffodils especially) making the whole house smell better when it's still too cold for flowers outside. and hockey playoffs. that too.
-
I just got married two and a half weeks ago, so that makes me pretty happy. Springtime. Winter. A really good nap. Contrary to my cranky demeanor at work, I tend to be pretty happy I think. At the very least, I'm content.
-
Aside from the love 'o my life... the thing that makes me happiest is a good writing session. Afterwards I feel relaxed and like my blood is flowing more freely, and that everything's [banana].
-
Happiness is the middle of a good vacation, where you've finally forgotten about that thing at work you have to get done when you get back, and you're truly enjoying yourself and the people and the scenery around you.
-
I just got married two and a half weeks ago Congratulations, snow!
-
Hey yah, Congratulations! You managed to go on your honeymoon yet, snow?
-
Thank you! No honeymoon yet. We're saving it for later this year. That also makes me happy (ha).
