Night Sky Murals is a process applied to a room of your choice that creates a permanent, realistic, astronomically accurate simulation of a starry night sky in a darkened room. You get to choose the day and time represented.
  • Some friends had this done on their 10th anniverary -- the night they chose was their 50th anniversary.
  • boo! how cool is that?? wow!
  • pretty schweet. Looks a little more . mmm. . good . . than my attempt with the glo-in-the-dark stickers.
  • Always wanted to do this..
  • i couldn't find prices anywhere. boo, what did your friends pay?
  • I want this. As soon as I live somewhere with a decent-sized room worth doing this in, that is.
  • There was no set price, iirc, but dependent on the size of the room. I'll ask when I see them next.
  • Where are these people located? The contact page was little help.
  • I used to do the glow-in-the-dark stars, but this is way cool...pretty, but I wonder if it keeps you awake staring at the ceiling! and I'd have to wear my glasses to bed...
  • Jeff Stewart (801) 599-9836 that's weird, that info was there when i first saw the page this morning, now i had to find it through a google cache. that's a US number, area code for Utah
  • I wanted to get this done in my bedroom, so I called the guy and paid him 100 clams. When I got back from work that day, I crawled up to bed and went to sleep looking at a beautiful star-scape. When it started to rain, I realised that he'd stolen my roof.
  • "A blend of compounds produces the long lasting glow found in the Night Sky Mural product." vs. "What about that glow-in-the-dark paint or those stick on stars? The difference is astronomical." Clearly, their "blend of compounds" is vastly superior to the tired old paint. Ugh. Ad-copy.
  • Wow...if it's half of what it looks like, just ...wow.
  • Hi everyone... Someone told me that you were discussing my business and I thought that I'd come and take a look. For those wondering, the real mural is actually better than what the web site can depict. I like to over deliver. I just painted a mural for an astronomer who couldn't believe that the mural was so realistic. Oh, and I understand the comment about ad. copy... but what is one to do? Sigh... We will have a new web site up this year sometime that will hopefully be a little better with better ad. copy too. :) Anyway, thanks for discussing my business. It is really what it says and, I think, even more. Nice forum! Jeff Stewart www.NightSkyMurals.com
