God's Wife Edited Out of the Bible -- Almost. God's wife, Asherah, was a powerful fertility goddess, according to a theologian.

  • Sounds reasonable. Otherwise, why would He be sexed? And since He is sexed as male, and believes in the sacrament of marriage, what else makes sense? His wife might wear a burka today, or a veil as they say, but She is, if we believe in Him, based on the evidence here and on simple logical consistency.
  • Also note that the Gnostic Bible states that the Trinity is Father, MOTHER and son...
  • Correction: Son should be capitalized also. And I refer to the Nag Hammadi texts, which I once had and gave away.
  • It is interesting to realize how various subjects or writings did or did not make their way into the bible. It is particularly true with respect to the New Testament, where books were essentially voted in or out.
