A little perspective on these terrorized times.
On this date, EXACTLY 100 YEARS AGO, two brothers, members of the Iron Workers Union and unpopular ethnic group The Irish, set off a bomb in the L.A. Times building, killing 21 and injuring over 100, but failing to stop production of the day's paper.

Was the LA Times by chance a Hearst paper way back then, Foop? Speaking of whom, here's an excursion into poesy by the father of yellow journalism. Think poesy grates hideously on a modern ear, don't you?
