Mossy goodness! Nearly as lucious as nog.
  • For years I had this theory that moss would make a much better lawn than grass, and this summer, I was proved right. I was visiting a house where much of the shady backlawn had been colonised by moss, and it was softer, thicker, greener than any grass I'd ever seen (even while visiting lawn obsessed England). It was like a springy natural deep pile carpet. Very high quality rolling surface.
  • reminds me of scotland. sigh. that country is gorgeous. and all the mossy hills are dotted with sheep!
  • I love both moss and Moss. :)
  • Now I wish I had a garden.
  • Reminds me of Scotch. sigh.
  • diz! mossy Talisker! peaty-smoky-yummy.
  • Moss Acres is the place to be! Sod livin' is the life for me! Mud spreadin' out so far and wide! Keep Manhattan just gimme that spongy side! Back in my radio days, I once knew a disk jockey whose on-air name was "Pete Moss". Which I guess was considered better at the time than "Mike Sakellarides", "Ted Ziegenbusch" and "Keri Tombasian".
  • But what was your on air monicker? Or what would it be?
  • /snore.
