85 ways to add magic to your world
Don't make me play The Game by myself on the front page, people!
-
Well, if you're going to do it this way, here's Agent 86 (from a great fan site that predates the movie, so it's very Don Adams-centric. Sorry about that, Steve Carell).
-
21-87 is a cheery little film by Arthur Lipsett that heavily influenced George Lucas and is where he got the concept of "the Force".
-
*facepalm* You fools were supposed to post in the game thread!!
-
88 mph to get Back To The Future! *88* to you guys* *but you'll have to go here to see what it means
-
Well, since this isn't the game thread, I'd like to point out that 27 is not divisible by 7. Sorry, that's been bugging me since the beginning, and I missed my chance inthread.
-
Well, thank heaven someone is paying attention to the facts! In goofy's defense, any number is divisible by 7, but sometimes there's a remainder and sometimes things get really weird. *said the math dope* So, knicks, can we count* on you for 89? *see what I did there?*
-
"27 is not divisible by 7". But in base 14 it is. (And we all know how useful quadradecimal is).
-
For my bonehead college math course, we had to learn (and pass a test on) the Babylonian math system. The Babylonians had an advanced number system, in some ways more advanced than our present systems. It was a positional system with a base of 60... Immensely useful. I'm sure it was to teach us the idea of calculating in different bases, but wouldn't base 2 have been more 'real life', she whined?

wouldn't base 2 have been more 'real life', she whined? I'll go to second base with you anytime, sweetcheeks.
