Neat photo. Gee whiz, you mean we DON'T know everything about how natural systems work? Whodathunkit? Get with it people. We need to start figuring a way out of this oily morass we're in.

I wonder if this effect, if replicable, might be useful where drought-stricken regions border on the sea.
