A million years ago in marketing time, a regional airline PSA (Pacific Southwest Airlines) used to paint its planes with what looked like a smile... I still have nightmares...

Oh, Lord, Hoser. I've flown on Turkish Air to Cyprus. The amount of FOD on the runway was impressive. As was the duct tape over the baggage compartment. The bald front tire didn't bother me, I figured we'd be on the ground when it blew. Close to the ground is good. Flaming ball of fire...not so good. But I survived, had a good time in Cyprus, carried home a huge decorative pot on my lap (loved it then, love it now--don't mess with my pot.)
