I read the whole thing and thought it was pretty stupid, especially when he brought in Where the Wild Things Are, and then he hit Sweeny Todd, and there was the following sentence: ‘It is not the cannibal consumer who poses a threat to civilisation,’ [sic] Kristen Guest writes, ‘but rather the treacherous shopkeeper who values human life at so much per pound.' Right on, Jenny Diski!
