Crowdsourcing Star Wars A New Hope cut into 473 15-second clips, each re-made by enthusiasts, edited back together.
  • Currently 3 scenes completed. One was a guy in a hoodie silhouetted and making beep boop! noises. One was a faithful re-enactment of a scene on the Death Star, and the third was a brilliant stop-motion scene between Han and Luke using action figures. I can't wait to see more!
  • Wow.
  • I hate Star Wars... but gotta say this is a pretty cool idea
  • Wow, I love Star Wars, and this is a terrible idea. You see that idiot doing scene 043 (or 385, god) and then you see brilliance like seen 400 ... Oy.
  • Ok, I read more.. this could meliorate the end product: This weekend, I will be releasing an upgraded version of Star Wars: Uncut. It will allow a lot more people to join in on the fun. This means there will be multiple versions of each scene where fans will be able to choose their favorite version. I’ll spare you the techinical details of how it will work right now, but I just wanted to let everyone know that they still have a chance to participate!
  • It's done. Though not yet fully released.
