Last rolls please. With only one place to get it processed left, Kodak announced that it was discontinuing Kodachrome Film (an earlier announcement for another family member). The technology behind some very recognisable shots, it will also be remembered via its namesake state park.

A number of the last rolls are being sent to the Kodak Museum, and Steve McCurry, who took the photo of Sharbat Gula, has been chosen to shoot the last roll. He'd better hurry though; Dwayne's Photo will discontinue processing after December 2010.
