Navigating the high seas of Google Earth
- or ram into tall buildings and challenge traffic on local highways, your choice.
I've piloted a huge container vessel into Halifax Harbour, veered West and toured the forests and stripmalls of the surrounding area. Arrrr! Mind that you toot the horn when approaching highways. Great introductory video on that page.

This is pretty neat! That Rotterdam harbour is a tricky place to maneuver a large ship though, and I can't seem to get it to start anywhere else. It's also fun to fly the blimp, which goes a little faster than the ships.

Dang, Islander! I managed to get it to your neck of the woods. I think you have to type where you want to go in the box just below the wheel there, and make fine adjustments from there. Voila - the Queen Mary about to fetch up on a shoal in the Pacific.

Whoa! This is GREAT STUFF. Gonna take me a nice trip later. Always did want to ram a boat into a tall building. Thanks, fish tick, for giving me even more reasons to mess around with Google Earth!

Better angle.

Ah, now I've got it. Anchors aweigh, me hearties!
