The Art of Jeff Jordan. [Via]
  • Wow. Allow me to attempt some armchair psychology: this man is need of significant therapy, and he is likely terrified of women. On the other hand, I was a terrible artist as a kid (I am sure I am much worse now -- I stopped trying after teachers stopped making me draw). I would sometimes accidentally make things that were disproportionate to one another. I did this because I was bad at drawing and was failing to make thing consistent. Perhaps I should have just changed the name of a typical work to "Dog with Boy Who Has One Giant Arm."
  • Those paintings are very beautiful and very disturbing.
  • Hmmm, I would say he has some issues with women AND giant chickens. After taking the time to look at all the different pages and follow his links, I just have to say...he lives in a strange, strange world. I have never stopped to contemplate the question: Would a 100-foot tall radioactive chicken be able to kick Cyclops’ ass?
  • Hey, this is the guy who did the album art for The Mars Volta's latest record, 'The Bedlam In Goliath.' The painting 'Agadez' was on the cover.
  • It's like a mysogynistic David Lynch took up painting circus posters after eating a bag of psilocybin mushrooms.
