A preposterous theory. If we want the exploration of space to drive evolution, then we would be satisfied that Picard is a more evolved being than Kirk. Hello? Kirk is a rootin-tootin space cowboy with a kiss no astro-foxx could resist - his prime directive was as hard as steel and he could warp drive all night long. Picard is BALD.
