Entropa is causing some commotion.
The supposedly collaborative piece has been installed in the headquarters of the European Council of Ministers in Brussels. Bulgaria complained about its depiction as a toilet, prompting Czech artist David Cerny to admit that it's a big hoax.
Commissioned by the Czech government to mark the Czech presidency of the EU, Entropa was supposed to contain works of art from all 27 EU member states. In fact, it's all been done by Czech artist David Cerny and two associates. The Guardian has a nice picture with its article.

Ah, David Czerny. I remember visiting Prague and being very amused by his work. He is a colossal joker, but I don't know whether the EU bureaucrats will quite get it. Statue of St Wenceslas riding an upside-down dead horse Random guy hanging out Fountain with two animatronic guys peeing (with sound!)

I like that Sweden seems to be represented by flat-pack furniture. And random hanging-out guy is awesome.

Man, every goth in the world is going to want to visit Romania now.

Brilliant!
