I saw the wooden mirror back when it was posted in Metafilter and all of his projects are simply amazing. I'm still waiting for transparent concrete though.

oops - I think I might have it wrong. Googling doesn't bring up clear steel in the 23rd century, but transparent aluminum. Anyone know the movie better?
