OJ Simpson is going to jail which begs the question: if OJ was to go to jail, and there not be a media frenzy around to hear it, would it still be news? No doubt, he's sitting around somewhere, waiting, muttering to himself "O tempora o mores!" Indeed, OJ. Indeed.
  • Fifteen years for armed robbery. "Post-racial era" my eye...
  • Too bad they already remade The Longest Yard. Also, he was found guilty on 3 counts. That's 5 years each, non-concurrent. Not entirely out of line for a man who showed no remorse until today.
  • "I just wanted my personal things. I was stupid. I'm sorry. I didn't know I was doing anything illegal. I thought I was confronting friends. I thought I was retrieving my things. I didn't mean to hurt anybody and I didn't mean to steal anything," Simpson said. Not exactly a persuasive show of remorse, either. Still pretty much excuses, denying that he did something wrong. It's a sad day when a man can't sell his stuff to someone to try to avoid paying damages in a wrongful-death suit to the family of your dead ex-wife and then confront the people you sold stuff to in a hotel room by waving a gun around saying that you want the stuff you sold to them back because you never sold it to them because you want to give it all to the kids since they don't have a mother anymore.
  • ...credit for time served is 64 days Ouch.
  • Are we supposed to have heard of this "OJ" Simpson?
  • Ouch. That's what SHE said AMIRITE What? Too soon?
  • AssholeFilter
  • In the words of nelson, ha-ha!
